Clinical Director of

Woodlands Clinic

Julia Machno

Julia Machno is a BCBA, Licensed Behavior Analyst, and Certified Autism Specialist in the greater New Orleans area.

In 2020, she received her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After studying at ULL, she went on to get her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. While studying at Ball State, Mrs. Machno found a dedication to the autism population and decided to also get certified as an Autism Specialist.

Julia gained experience within the ABA field by working as a behavior technician where she worked in the clinic and school setting. She has experience working with individuals aged 2-10 with a variety of different behaviors. While working toward her BCBA credential, she served as one of Brennan Behavior Groups first BCBA Apprentices. This role included closely shadowing a BCBA who currently works at Brennan Behavior Group while learning more intensely about implementing treatment plans, giving assessments, parent training, and managing a client caseload.

Julia’s professional interests include early intervention with children who are diagnosed with ASD, severe behavior disorders, and functional communication training. Clinically, she hopes to bring about meaningful behavior changes that are functionally important to making a lasting impact on her client’s lives. In her spare time, Julia enjoys playing with her dog and spending time with her husband and friends.
